The Lead Network Engineer will coordinate and execute requirement gathering and engineer solutions based upon best practices. The Lead Network Engineer will ensure compliance with all pertinent Army policies, ensure compliance with all pertinent Cybersecurity requirements, and establish compliant IT system integrations. The Lead Network Engineer will lead engagements with Government and external organizations (e.g., OEMs and distributors). The Lead Network Engineer will maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing 5G (Wireless and Wireline) technologies, always be on the lookout for new technologies, and provide innovative concepts to evolve current processes. The Lead Network Engineer will provide critical insight and guidance to standardize the network modernization effort for various CONUS sites and provide direction on the preparation and maintenance of all documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.Required qualifications:

Ten years of experience within the last fifteen years as a Network Engineer in a production environment.

In depth knowledge of Wireless and Wireline Networks and transitional knowledge of network operations and site configurations

Excellent communicator in all levels – engineers, managers, clients, and partners

Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Wireless communications, with at least 8 years Design and network testing

Minimum 5 years of management experience with leading engineering team for network deployment, testing, design, and performance analysis including 5G NR

Five years of experience in the last seven years delivering a network project of similar scope and complexity.

Possess a current IAT Level III Certification.

Two years of experience working with commercial Mobile Network Operators.

May be based in any U.S. location with the ability to travel for about 25%.

Expert in 5G Field testing and analysis using the industry leading tools

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Effective oral and communication skills and ability to present and engage at a Government and Contract leadership level.

Three years of experience in designing cloud-based solutions.

The likely salary range for this position is $142,324 - $192,556. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
