The ideal candidate is required to have a strong technical background in low-code/no-code development at The Center for Disease and Control data integration, data visualization, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach. Responsibilities include end-to-end solution development, data modeling, integration with Microsoft 365 and other systems, and ongoing application maintenance. Familiarity with security best practices and the ability to document and communicate technical details to stakeholders is essential.Responsibilities: Leverage Power Platform’s capabilities to integrate with Microsoft 365 apps (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) and other third-party systems. Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions Analyzes and implements functional requirements and designs, implements and test software Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality Designs and develops complex applications by setting expectations and feature priorities Conduct design and code reviews to ensure design principles are followed by peer developers Take responsibility for comprehensive unit testing to ensure code quality before releasesRequired skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years’ experience working at the CDC required

3+ years of solid experience with full life-cycle software development

3+ years of extensive Java development experience

Front-end web experience with AngularJS, React, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS

Strong knowledge of developing applications in a Microsoft Power Platform

Experience integrating back-end REST APIs

Desired skills and experience:

Ability to create complex reports and dashboards using Power BI, with skills in DAX for advanced data analytics.

Knowledge of integrating Power BI visualizations within Power Apps and Microsoft Team

Understanding of user-centered design principles to build intuitive and accessible Power Apps.

Experience with responsive design and UI customization to improve user experience across devices.

Familiarity with alternative low-code/no-code platforms, such as Salesforce or ServiceNow, for comparative analysis and solution selection.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match.
