You contribute to our growth strategy by developing the strategic marketing communications plan for building awareness and generating leads for our world-class products in State and Local Government. You lead the design and execution of the tactics to achieve that plan. You are highly collaborative, working closely with product managers, client account teams and your colleagues across the U.S. to promote CGI’s thought leadership, offerings and services, unique capabilities, and success stories to our target clients.Principal duties and responsibilities:You are a well-rounded product marketing manager with direct experience across several disciplines.Responsibilities include: Translate business unit and product priorities into a comprehensive product marketing plan. Work directly with Product Managers in clearly articulating product differentiation and customer value – support content creation that translates information into sophisticatedly written collateral, RFP responses, case studies, blogs, etc. Independently develop strong content that highlight value propositions for the targeted audience – samples should be provided upon request Assess competitive data (e.g., pricing, solution) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to synthesize materials that support responding to competitive threats Conduct market research and generate insights about competitor offerings and positioning strategies Define and size market segments – as well as potential growth opportunities Conduct win/loss analysis Analyze product profitability and sales success Create and maintain the business plan including pricing Develop recommendations on buy/build/partner decisions Support development of creating presentations for sales and speaking engagements at conferences Work with graphic designers to create elegant visualizations that enhance our message to the market Develop a monthly marketing calendar of activities, events, conferences, campaigns etc., to share with all members across Government Solutions Ensure our sales capabilities materials are robust, current and include best-in-class examples of solution value, organized and easily accessible for our IP Business Partner Team Develop differentiated product messaging and clearly articulated value propositions Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy, including thought leadership, brochures, digital collateral, case studies, and sales enablement documentation Execute integrated marketing communications campaigns to support the marketing plan, working closely with internal partners Develop and manage client communications, design and facilitate product-focused client user communities, and support industry events Provide marketing and sales support to strategic opportunities with our clients and prospects (through account and deal-based marketing) Manage the budget and marketing performance for your product area Support go-to-market relationships and offerings with CGI’s external partners and key industry associations, as requiredKnowledge, skills, competencies, and experience: 10+ years of combined experience working in Marketing, consulting, and/or business development disciplines, preferably in the ERP and State and Local Government space Past experience in digital marketing, product marketing and/or product management Proven leadership in independently envisioning, designing, and executing integrated marketing campaigns Strong writing, editing, proofing, project management, strategic planning and problem-solving skills desired. Creative thinker able to come up with ideas in partnership w/ Government Solutions Strategic Operations team – background in creative advertising is a plus Strong verbal and written communications, including the ability to write and present to executive audiences Demonstrated understanding of the strategic use of content marketing, digital marketing, and social media to generate awareness in a crowded market Professional maturity and executive presence – the ability to achieve and maintain excellent relationships with executives and virtual communities Ability to translate technical capabilities into client benefits A track record as someone who is “hands-on and gets things done” and thrives on managing numerous concurrent initiatives Intellect and flexibility to work in a highly dynamic environment with tight deadlines Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills Self-starter who has advanced project and budget management skills Degree educated in related field (business, marketing, communications, etc.) Flexibility to travel, as needed  Preference to work in a collaborative, cross-team capacitySkills:Market Research & Analysis
