We also provide architecture, implementation, data analysis and operations support for large scale data migration and integration of cloud IT systems.GDIT is seeking a Product Owner , who will work collaboratively with CMS to define requirements for web development to support the Medicare Transaction Facilitator and to ensure that the web portal meets the customers’ needs.HOW A PRODUCT OWNER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects and highlights areas of improvement.
Directs functional testing of various projects or systems.
Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.
Develops new functionality or updates the existing, to meet client needs.
Writes and updates project documentation including procedures, presentations, and training materials.
Consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.
Provides guidance and work leadership to team members
May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)
Serves as advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation.
Generates recommendations in the form of presentations, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.
Provides product leadership and direction in implementing changes.
Participates in meetings and discussions for any new work, including special projects, assisting with high level ROMs and detailed estimates.
Guides the successful completion of major projects and may function in a project leadership role.
Attends and/or facilitates meetings and forums with all the stakeholders on both technical and business project topics.
Participates in collaborative reviews of Requirements. Development, Testing and deliverables.
Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
Participates in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ceremonies.
Collaborates with team members and management to identify risks and mitigation activities.
Escalates to Resource Management and Scrum Masters the appropriate team issues and accomplishments.
Defines, communicates, and promotes best practices.
Participates in special projects as required.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS in Computer Science or related discipline.
10+ years related IT experience.
Familiarity with Medicare data and business processes, specifically Part D and Part B claims.
In-depth knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, work processes, and applicable regulations in assigned subject-matter areas.
Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or related Agile methodology.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $140,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
