This is part of an initiative for the Department of Veterans Affairs where GDIT has the primary responsibility for developing and supporting VA’s ServiceNow instance. We are responsible for the people, processes, and tools required to provide a healthy, reliable, scalable, interoperable, and adoptable Service Management solution inclusive of Platform and Software Configuration, Design and Development, Testing, Integration, Modernization, Expansion, Customization, Implementation, Provisioning, Auditing, Administration, Release Management, Code Reviews and Operations & Maintenance Support services.As an Expert level Program Analyst supporting the ITSM Program, you will be critical for day to day task order management, creating and reviewing project plans, business processes, developing user stories in an Agile environment, facilitating process reviews and solutioning sessions with key stakeholders, gathering dashboarding design requirements, and developing standard operating procedures.Responsibilities
Work with the PM to develop program documentation (charter, project plans, and schedules).
Provide analysis and support in program goals related to ServiceNow
Articulate goals and objectives and effectively translate them into relevant strategies and messages, and maintain continuity of key documents supporting priorities, and strategic decisions.
Develop briefings and PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership and decision makers.
Perform a data collection methods to include visualizing data and communicating the meaning of the results to non-technical stakeholders.
Develop standard operations procedures and identify process improvements.
Processes requests and changes for staffing procurement actions
Generates recurring reports for monitoring of program status for leadership and customers
Provides ongoing data analysis and monitoring for project performance information
Provides resource management analysis, reporting, records maintenance, and support
Provides back-up coverage and support for general procurement activities
Provides PMO reporting and support functions as assigned by management
Conducts risk identification and tracking
Conducts continual service improvement (CSI) identification and tracking efforts
Oversees contract deliverables process, submission, and acceptance tracking
May work with program financial management on program financial reporting and analysis
Create presentations and present recommendations
Supports the Program Manager in developing and maintaining a Project Management Plan
Establishes and defines program plan requirements and performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans.
Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust prior to start

Job Location: Remote 100%Required Qualifications/Skills
A master’s degree and 15 years of experience, or 25 years of experience with no degree
Supported government contracts, ideally Department of Veterans Affairs
Prior experience with ServiceNow
Solid understanding of project management methodologies such as PMI frameworks and Agile
Excel functionality, such as complex formulas, pivot tables, etc.
Utilize data science skills as well, to analyze user data sets and provide recommendations
PowerPoint presentations for executive leadership and customer groups
Microsoft Project and SharePoint
Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance
