Job AnnouncementProvides weekly clinical supervision to resource team staff and monitors day to day functioning of the team. Assigns staff to state funded hospital discharge planning cases and is point of contact for same. Attends Children's Service Act (CSA)-related team-based planning meetings as needed in the role of resource specialist and provides back up CSA lead case management and state mandated hospital discharge planning coverage. Responsible for overseeing assessment process related to conducting assessments for admission to local crisis stabilization unit. Helps to act as liaison between CSB and contracted agency operating local crisis stabilization unit. Sits on Family Assessment and Planning Team (FAPT) as CSB representative in working as system stakeholder in assessing youth seeking out of home placement. Coordinates, tracks and submits monthly billing to CSB finance office. In coordination with program manager, addresses procedural and practice challenges, providing analysis and suggestions for remedy. The CSB provides clinical supervision for employees who are registered as licensed eligible mental health in one of the following areas: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
In addition, to recognize and reinforce the importance of professional development and enhance future recruitment of licensed professionals, if approved, the licensure supervisors will receive a stipend of $1,500 paid out biweekly over a 12-month period whether for one or more Department of Health licensure candidates.
License/Certification Reimbursement - Reimbursement for job related licenses and/or certifications once per year.

Provides staff supervision for all clinical aspects of the program;
Plans, assigns, and reviews work of team members;
Interviews and selects candidates for various positions;
Provides assessment and treatment services to individuals presenting a wide variety of emotional, social, and mental disorders over a range of severity;
Consults with professionals on a variety of problems including delivery of needed services for clinically complex cases;

Employment StandardsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from an accredited college with at least a master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or nursing plus three years of clinical experience or a doctoral degree in psychology, social, counseling or nursing plus one year of clinical experience. Must be eligible to be licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist.CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
Valid driver's license with fewer than six demerit points (or equivalent in another state) must be maintained throughout employment with Community Services Board.
Qualified Mental Health Professional Children and Adolescent (QMHP-C) (Required within 1 month)
Qualified Mental Health Case Manager (QMHCM) (Required within 1 month)
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a Child Protective Services Registry check, a driving record check, and sanction screening to the satisfaction of the employer. A TB screening upon hire and annually thereafter. Require a National Provider Identifier. This position is emergency/essential services personnel.
