As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Complete other projects as required
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Requirements
Under supervision from the Accounting Manager or designee, performs technical and complex accounting duties in the preparation, maintenance, and review of financial records, accounts, and reports; interprets accounting policies and procedures to assure accuracy and compliance.
Compiles and prepares financial statements, general and subsidiary ledgers and supporting schedules. Assists with month-end and year-end close.
Prepares journal entries and periodic reconciliations of general ledger, general journals, subsidiary accounts, and bank statements.
Reviews and ensures posting to proper accounts and general ledger; financial and statistical data to proper accounts; makes adjustments, as necessary.
Investigates discrepancies/issues; advises management of potential impact and recommends solutions.
Monitors cash balances in various accounts; makes cash deposits to maintain balances; balances and reconciles general accounts as assigned; receives cash, wires, and checks from various revenue sources; receives, posts and deposits cash received daily to account; audits receipts
