Description:ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As an advanced software engineer for Submarine Combat Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for delivering advanced mission capabilities to the US and Australian submarine forces.We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: software development (C/Java), Kubernetes, Linux w/ Command Line, Ansible.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSRequires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Superior Red Hat/CentOS Linux skills

Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
Certifications: one or more of Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Admin (CKA), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
