The candidate will conduct software validation (acceptance testing) for the Office of Child Support Enforcement expanded Federal Parent Locator Service for all lines of business.Responsibilities:

Review the changes/requirements that are coming to testing

Prepare testability assessment

Prepare the test plan in JIRA and attach it to requirement

Prepare the test cases in JIRA and attach them to test plan

Perform test execution and open any defects in JIRA

Retest the defect fixes

Prepare a test report and deliver it to stake holders

Attend System team meetings, scrum calls, internal status meetings etc

Add the weekly status to the confluence

Complete the GDIT and customer trainings in a timely manner

Required Skills:

Bachelors Degree and 5 years of general IT experience with at least 3 years in Testing

3+ years experience in Python

Knowledge of AWS cloud services like Athena tool & S3

Experience with SQL databases Postgre

Experience with Pandas, Py-Spark

Experience with various forms of Testing such as System, Acceptance, and Regression is required

Experience with testing of web applications

Experience with Industry Standard Testing Methodologies and Processes

Experience with requirement assessments, development of test plans, test cases, test data, and test execution is required

Experience documenting detailed testing results that outline testing summary, defects, risks and enhancements

Interface effectively with peers across the development teams, operations, security group and the customer

Desired Skills:

Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with project deadlines

Excellent organizational, troubleshooting, writing, and analytical skills is required

Experience setting up data, tools, databases to support integrated test environments
