BIA is the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. It is authorized up to 21 Board Members, including the Chairman and Vice Chairman who share responsibility for BIA management. Generally, the BIA does not conduct courtroom proceedings - it decides appeals by conducting a "paper review" of cases.As a Management Analyst I you will support EOIR – BIA Clerk’s Office by assisting the Chief Clerk or assigned personnel with special projects and initiatives. Our team supports a fast-paced environment, with direct impact on immigration processing for the entire Nation.This position is located in Falls Church, VA.Your future duties and responsibilities: Improve efficiency of overall operation as assigned Compile case load statics and other data associated with performance in consultation with or on behalf of the client Provide findings and associated data/graphics upon request Assist with preliminary review for administrative adjudication of cases Use case management system to conduct queriesRequired qualifications to be successful in this role: Excellent communication Strong Analytical and Deductive Reasoning Intermediate/Advanced MS Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include: 50 State Education and Employment checks; additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records check may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship and an ability to obtain an MRPT clearance is required.Hourly Rate: $25.72/hourCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level, relevant experience and training, and licensure and certifications.
