  Summary About the Position: Serves as an Emergency Management (EM) Subject Matter Expert (SME). Work is performed primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Some standing, walking, bending, and lifting are required during actual response to an accident of disaster. Hours of work will fall between 0600 and 1800. Responsibilities Communicates and networks with both internal and external contacts. Provides liaison support among military, federal and private healthcare organizations. Assists in the preparation of financial management reports. Participates in the development and execution of the agency’s multi-year training and exercise plan. Develops, maintains, updates and exercises a comprehensive “all-hazards” emergency management plan. Test and evaluate all-hazards preparedness and response. Develops process improvement plan and tracking. Develops policies, plans and procedures for employing resources for National Special Security Events (NSSE).
