The successful candidate will conduct manual testing in collaboration with other testers to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards. You will also develop user acceptance testing (UAT) plans for upcoming software releases that are validated by the customer. As part of ongoing software development, you will frequently conduct brief demonstrations for the customer. The ideal candidate will be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to work closely with a remote, distributed team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can manage his/her own work and help other team members with their tasks. An interest in renewable fuel, protection of the environment, or environmental policy is highly desirable.HOW A TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Conducting manual testing of user stories
Presenting customer-facing demonstrations of new features
Creating user acceptance testing plans for upcoming releases
Performing regression testing
Identifying defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them
About 30 hours a week
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
BA or equivalent + 5 yrs related experience
Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and Jira
Familiarity with Agile software development
Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Comfortable working with end clients and providing customer support
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
A self-starter who can manage their own work
Highly desirable - an interest in renewable fuel, protection of the environment, or environmental policy
Travel <10%

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
