Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in our Glen Allen, Virginia location. As a PC Technician, you will be part of our Internet Service Provider team, focusing on installing wireless routers and monitors for PCs. Responsibilities: Installation and setup of wireless routers Assisting in the setup and installation of PC monitors Ensuring project completion, which may require extended working hours as needed Displaying physical agility by lifting small weights and maneuvering in tight spaces such as under tables Utilizing personal tools such as Power Drill/Power screwdriver (Phillips head) for installation tasks Troubleshooting hardware-related issues with computer systems Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently Maintaining accurate customer credit records Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action Leveraging skills in Linux Technologies, Active Directory, and Database Management Installing and managing cable systems. Requirements Proficiency in Computer Hardware and Database management. Knowledge and experience with Dell Technologies. Familiarity with EO/IR systems. Competency in Linux Technologies. Experience in AB Testing. Understanding and ability to use Active Directory. Ability to handle and troubleshoot Apple Devices. Knowledge of Backup Technologies. Experience in Cable Installation. Your Impact at SAM The survey instrument operator uses a variety of land survey instruments to support a crew in their daily operations Assists in the completion of field surveys under the supervision of a Crew Chief Responsible for the operation, checking and basic field adjustments of land survey equipment.
