Queen City Bistro, specializing in Classic Upscale American Fare with an Italian twist, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Helper to support our kitchen operations. As a new restaurant, we're building a team that values both excellence in service and the well-being of every employee. This role is essential to our kitchen's efficiency and success, offering a great opportunity to those starting in the culinary field looking to build more skills or looking to join a supportive and professional team.
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay: $15-$16.75 per hour, based on experience.
Sign-On Bonus: $300, payable after 90 days.
Benefits: Meals on duty, employee discounts, and an optional 401k plan with a 3% match (vesting after 3 months).
Work-Life Balance: Work days from Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts beginning at 1pm/2pm and ending at 9:30-10:30pm. Both full-time and part-time opportunities available, with Sundays and Mondays off.
About You:
Experience in a kitchen setting is appreciated but not required; we value willingness to learn and reliability above all.
Ability to manage time effectively, ensuring all dishes are cleaned promptly and kitchen areas are maintained in an orderly fashion.
Eagerness to assist with kitchen prep tasks, contributing to the overall success of our service.
Key Responsibilities:
Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently, maintaining a clean workspace.
Assisting with basic food prep tasks as directed by the culinary team.
Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met throughout the kitchen.
