Position: Kitchen Line Cook
We seek a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Line Cook to join our dynamic team at Thunderbird Café. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes.
Responsibilities:
Execute food orders promptly and accurately, following recipes and presentation specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy hours.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements for better efficiency.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Proficiency in preparing and cooking dishes.
Understanding of kitchen protocols, including hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
