Position Objective: The Sr. IT Support Technician will respond to all support inquiries through the help desk system, emails, or calls. Support tickets include troubleshooting Windows issues, managing user accounts, and setting up and deploying new hardware and software. This individual will be the first line of resolution to troubleshoot all end-user support requests and incidents. Duties and Responsibilities:

This successful candidate’s responsibilities will include responding to and troubleshooting an average of 200 support tickets per month.

Complete On-boarding and Off-boarding tasks for staff.

Perform remote assistance to support Windows 10/11 laptops and software.

Troubleshoot Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Troubleshoot end-user network issues.

Manage O365 user accounts, groups, and settings.

Prepare and ship corporate laptops for end-users. (requires travel to local shipping center)

Basic Qualifications:

HS Diploma

Experienced support technician with at least 2 years experience working in a senior level role.

Familiar with troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Hands-on experience creating and managing users in O365 Admin Portal including Group Management, Exchange, and Active Directory.

Must pass a thorough background check as a government contractor with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

The candidate must be local to Herndon, Virginia (HQ). This is a hybrid position, requiring at least 1 day per week in the office depending on the needs of staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

CompTIA Security+ and Network+ are recommended.

Excellent customer service and IT problem-solving skills will all levels of staff.

Pro-active, self-starter with minimal supervision, time management is critical.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize support tickets as they are received using ManageEngine Service Desk.

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with non-technical and technical staff.

Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
