The Opportunity: The American Girl Washington, DC retail store (McLean, VA) is currently seeking a passionate Assistant Sales Manager who can be innovative and thrive in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
 What Your Impact Will Be:  Assists the Sales Manager in the management, leadership, and overview of the retail business.
 Provide sales floor leadership to ensure a friendly, positive, and professional work environment for both customers and employees at all times.
 Assists the Sales manager to achieve goals and monitor progress through weekly recaps and regular floor coaching and counseling of associates.
 Assists the Sales Manager in the strategic plan for new items, special promotions, and creation of floor plans.
 Execute all job functions in accordance with established American Girl processes and policies.
