AVP of Operational and Clinical Analytics, reporting to the VP of Analytics & Reporting, will lead Somatus’ analytic and reporting functions that will support Somatus’ key business areas:Operations, focusing on partnering with our operations leaders on analytics to help reduce unnecessary utilization, total cost of care (TCOC) and MLR.Client Success and Reporting, ensuring resiliency in our ability to deliver analytic insights and reporting to our clients.Provider Engagement, working to support analytic needs among our Value-based Care (VBC) partners and across other provider partnerships.Clinical Analytics, partnering with our clinical teams to continuously innovate and evolve our suite of clinical analytics to support better patient quality outcomes.Finance, on data governance initiatives, attribution review, and analytic support for billing and invoicing clients.Growth, finding opportunities in potential customers’ data to enable successful and impactful discussions on new business opportunities, support of M&A activity, and special Executive Committee projects.The leader will provide thoughtful leadership on Somatus’ analytics organization, with the end goal of driving positive business, patient and Somatus community outcomes. Key elements of this role include leading a team of Sr. Directors of Analytics and their teams on executing on analytics needs throughout the organization, developing a strategic vision and roadmap for the analytics team, and supporting the continued growth of the analytics team through hiring and personal development and growth.While this role is primarily about managing and growing our analytics teams, they are also expected to be familiar with and be hands on with the specifics of our analytics work to effectively serve as a problem-solving partner to others within the analytics team. Directly working with Somatus’ data will be required occasionally but is not the focus of this role.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities :

Manage our analytics team to deliver best-in-class execution on analytics projects.

Develop a strategic vision for the analytics team to support Somatus’ organizational wide goals.

Serve as an in-depth subject matter expert to problem-solve with members of the analytics team as needed and build expertise in areas that impact our analytics team.

Manage clear roadmaps and long-term plans for Somatus projects and internal analytics development efforts.

Foster a culture of data excellence across Somatus by leading data governance efforts.

Partner with the other technical teams in our Analytics & AI and Data Engineering departments to manage complex projects requiring coordinated efforts.

Provide business insight into areas of success and improvement and help translate for operators and our executive leadership key underlying drivers of business performance and our KPIs.

Ensure client partnerships are well-maintained through high standards of client reporting and ad-hoc analytic support provided by the team.

Work with our clinical and clinical analytics experts to ensure strong patient quality outcomes.

Support client growth and new client implementation activities by leading our analytics team on analyses, requirements gathering, and execution.

Support analytics for M&A activities and special Executive Committee projects as needed.

Advance the team’s analytics capabilities through training and professional development.

Provide mentorship and coaching to the analytics team by identifying and supporting the team’s personal and professional development goals.

QualificationsAt least 7 or more years of experience working in an analytics role supporting operations at a healthcare organization (e.g., value-based care provider, health system, health plan, etc.) or in a similar management consulting roleAtleast 5-7 years of healthcare experience working with and analyzing healthcare data and delivering on analyticsAtleast 5-7 years of hands-on management experience leading teams, ideally of analysts and/or data engineersEffective written and verbal communication skills and ability to present findings to stakeholdersStrong understanding of a broad range of healthcare, operational/financial, and analytics conceptsStrong conceptual problem-solving abilityFluency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalentFamiliarity with common scriptingOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.   • Summary The National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) leads the nation\'s effort to protect the United States from terrorism by integrating, analyzing and sharing information to drive whole-of-government action and achieve our national CT objectives. Responsibilities Assist the Senior Operations Officer (SOO) in leading a professional staff in the NCTC Operations Center (NCTOC) that maintains 24/7 global terrorism situational awareness by independently researching and analyzing raw intelligence reporting and maintaining awareness of current threats. Oversee and coordinate professional staff in the monitoring, sorting, prioritization, and analysis of intelligence and operational message traffic in support of counterterrorism (CT) operations and terrorism crisis management. Lead the development of all-source Alerts, Advisories, and other sensitive CT situational awareness products, and ensure the information is made available to all appropriate CT community stakeholders. Ensure products are accurate and free from errors. Supervise community outreach and collaboration activities by directing internal and external information sharing, fostering collaborative relationships with interagency partners, and ensuring timely and relevant threat information is provided to the CT community. In conjunction with the SOO, review NCTOC business practices and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with other NCTOC divisions to support overall mission objectives.
