The Chief of Staff will partner with the VP+ Leadership team within the Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) organization. The Chief of Staff is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining the following four strategic areas foundational for the success of the organization: 1) Strategy, 2) Operational Excellence, 3) Organizational Culture, and 4) Communications.Candidates should have a passion for technology, strong strategic command, an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. Candidates should be excited about improving the daily lives and development of our engineers and help our leaders advance our strategy at scale.Responsibilities:

Serve as a strategic thought partner for our CORE leadership team, helping guide the operations and management of the organization.

Act as a central point of contact between the CORE leadership team, CORE Insights & Analytics team, peer Chiefs of Staff, and other key partners. Ensure alignment of leaders across the organization.

Prioritize and focus leaders in a number of key areas (goals, labor strategy, budget, associate engagement, culture, operational excellence, etc). Aid the leadership team in strategic planning, uncovering critical efficiencies and preventing duplication of effort.

Understand the organization’s strategy and vision, lead the Leadership team to drive and track goals and priorities. Solve issues through escalation and articulate the issues that need to be done to elevate the team and allow easy accountability.

Create and manage effective, scalable processes to manage operating rhythms. Requires an ability to lead and influence to inject new operational processes to drive executional discipline and excellence. Craft operating routines and regularly participate in team meetings, offsites, and huddles.

Work closely with all business units and functions to align operations with strategy. Coordinate with product and business teams to build and execute on strategy.

Work with the leadership team and communications team to plan and execute key messages and deliver to internal and external audiences with a high priority on consistent, frequent organizational communications. Communicate plans and execution status for divisional strategic programs.

Lead staff to focus on culture and improving organizational engagement across the organization.

Lead CORE-wide associate engagement and enablement strategy and broader labor strategy programs, in partnership with Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Learning & Development and other partners

The Successful Candidate will:

Demonstrate strong communications proficiency, including across teams and organizations, and have experience utilizing oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills

Have the ability to multi-task with simultaneous projects and tasks, while demonstrating urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion

Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to be goal/execution-oriented

Be able to react seamlessly to change in priorities and delivery focus

Be capable of balancing strategy and tactical delivery

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

At least 7 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Program Management

At least 3 years of experience managing executive level stakeholders across different business functions

At least 4 years of experience working with cross-functional teams

At least 3 years of experience partnering with engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management or STEM-related field

5+ years of experience in people management

3+ years of experience in strategy development

3+ years of experience in budgeting and labor strategy

3+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence

Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee a staff of nearly 20 ODNI cadre and joint duty detailees for the formulation and execution of the more than $70 billion budget for the National Intelligence Program (NIP), carried out by the 18 elements of the Intelligence Community. Ensure NIP resources are allocated efficiently to maximize the effectiveness of IC programs. Oversee the development, prioritization, and implementation of Intelligence Community (IC) budget activities, to include budget reviews, preparation of DNI budget decisions, and support for budget justification materials and appeals of Congressional budget actions. Oversee and direct IC funds control activities, including reprogramming; funds apportionment, allotment, and allocation of appropriations; budget analysis; and budget execution assessment. Lead the comprehensive reporting and analysis on budget data, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Identify and evaluate key budget issues for consideration by IC principals.
