The Desk Officer serves as the primary interface between multiple locations/ components, for matters related to case management.

This officer should be a self-starter, requiring minimal oversight as well as organized and capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Desk Officers demonstrate a thorough knowledge of customer operations, as well as expertise in customer procedures to guide, manage and support projects.

Desk Officers should be able to write memos (via customer database), perform file reviews, process requests for file openings, prepare and present briefings to senior managers, draft binding documents, and provide overall operational support to the group.

Manages current and emergent intelligence reporting to customers, updating, maintaining, and disseminating intelligence products.

Manages, executes, and tracks intelligence sharing amongst multiple stakeholders.

Provides continuous intelligence watch, maintaining communication with respective components and partner agencies.

Monitors Indications and Warning (I&W), and is responsible for determining when a threat needs to be communicated to relevant authority.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.

May serve as a team or task lead.

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence operations.

Experience supporting intelligence operations (e.g.: watch operations or knowledge management).

Specific certifications or education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.

Education : BA/BS preferred or 5 years of related experience with 1+ years of customer specific experience is required

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
