If so, this role could be for you!About the RoleWe’re seeking a natural storyteller and connector to join the U.S. Card Communications team who will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive U.S. Card-wide associate campaign initiatives during some of our most important moments that matter throughout the year. Through a multi-channel approach, you’ll inform and engage associates across the organization, helping them stay connected to our business priorities and feel engaged as part of our inclusive culture. You’ll develop U.S. Card-wide communications plans to support some of our most important narratives, partner closely with key stakeholders to uncover compelling story ideas, deeply understand our associates’ and leaders’ needs by being insights driven, drive change management strategies, produce engaging collateral for our internal communication channels, and more.To deliver these campaigns, you will partner closely with:

Our Creative & Design team to help elevate our stories and campaigns through digital and multimedia platforms, including a robust video program

Our Executive Communicators to uncover and build out business segment stories that can be elevated into U.S. Card-wide news channels

Numerous U.S. Card stakeholder teams including Chiefs of Staff, HR and others to better understand the communication needs of our associates so that you can curate the most appropriate content and stories for them

You will have the opportunity to frequently see your work showcased to an internal audience of more than 20,000 associates while working side-by-side with smart, talented people who will challenge you to grow and excel.This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week) in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Monday and Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days . Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.Responsibilities

Accountable for developing communications campaigns that deliver on US Card’s associate experience strategy for new and/or large-scale associate experience efforts (i.e./ Activate, Elevate, Geo Strategy, etc.) and cyclical campaigns (i.e./ Promotions, Associate Appreciation Week, Admin Day, etc.)

Owns monthly development of newsletter targeting US Card people leaders, including the intake, drafting, review, approval, and distribution processes.

Develop end-to-end channel plans, audience segmentation, messaging, production & measurement, including post-campaign data visualization of performance data, metrics and insights

Develop EC level executive messaging in support of Associate Experience initiatives and campaigns

Identify and elevate stories through deep partnerships with Associate Experience and Executive Communications

Partner with Creative team to initiate creative requests, managing socialization and reviews, ensuring assets are executed on time

Proactively coordinate US Card’s editorial calendar with Associate Experience content, campaign planning and execution timelines

Plan and lead the post-campaign retro conversations

Requirements

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Experience with project and/or process management

Strong writing and story-telling skills with sound editorial judgment

The ability to distill complex content into clear, concise and engaging communications

Proficient at creating communication cascades within matrixed organizations

Excellent influencing and negotiation skills

Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with an ability to consistently execute multiple, and sometimes competing, activities and complex projects to high quality conclusion, on-time, and within budget

A track record of consistently acting with urgency as needed

Strong customer-orientation and proven track record of collaborative work relationships

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

At least 2 years of experience as a communications specialist

At least 2 years of process or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or military experience

BA in communications, marketing, English or journalism

At least 3 years of experience as a communications specialist

At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing experience role or financial services
