Eastern is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Accessory Technician / Mechanic to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, and other specialty vehicles and takes pride in building, modifying, and maintaining vehicles. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing aftermarket accessories and suspension lift kits, wiring/electrical work and completing mechanical drivetrain repairs and maintenance. Mechanics are required to supply their own tools.ResponsibilitiesInstall & service aftermarket suspension systems, including lift kits, leveling kits, and lowering kits.Diagnose and service vehicle drivetrain, suspension, steering, brakes and suspension components for related service work.Install a wide variety of aftermarket accessories including bumpers, side steps, fender flares, skid plates, hitches, bed covers, winches and other recovery gear, lighting, gears & axles, bolt-on engine performance upgrades, cat-back exhaust and more.Assist with mounting/balancing wheels and tires.Perform alignments and keep up with vehicle service/maintenance.Follow manufacturer installation instructions and proper torque specifications.Perform routine maintenance and general mechanical repairs.Service and repair drivetrain components including differentials, axles, driveshafts, transfer cases, and related components.Assist with larger mechanical projects and specialty "show vehicle" builds.
