The

Bus Info Analyst II (Pharmacy Pricing, Trend and Cost of Care Analytics) is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, and reporting on data related to Pharmacy cost of care, pharmacy trends, pricing analysis and other Medicaid book of business related issues/metrics.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide cost of care support including using tracking software, creating presentation for leadership and ad-hoc requests.
  • Ability to pull and analyze data to support cost of care, trend and pricing analytics.
  • Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data).
  • Creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as ad-hoc reports.
  • Supports a variety of pricing requests including a detailed breakdown of pricing performance by market and by product in support of account management.
  • Participate in pricing testing for state mandated pricing states.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a BS/BA degree in related field;
  • 2-5 years data analysis or related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Requires experience manipulating and processing datasets with proficiency in SQL and/or SAS, Access, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Pharmacy or healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Medicaid experience is preferred
  • Pricing experience is preferred
