The OpportunityThe Center Manager reports to the Associate Director Operations (ADO).This position is located on site at our center in Norfolk, VA.The Role

You will have overall authority for center operations production goals, monitor net yields, and implement improvement plans.

Monitor donor retention, ensure efficient donor flow, implement donor retention improvement and corrective action plans.

Ensure compliance with all Company SOPs and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Manage all aspects of financial oversight to include setting annual budget, ensuring center meets monthly financial targets and ongoing cash management goals, and observing cash management, and financial reporting.

You will oversee overall center quality compliance by ensuring the business is inspection ready. Meet with QA to include regulatory and customer requirements to ensure the purity and efficacy of the plasma and the safety of donors and employees. Communicate any quality concerns or issues to Associate Director of Operations.

Participate during all audits with quality personnel and Quality team to develop corrective action plans to address any areas of deficiency noted during audits.

Follow all HSE and OSHA procedures. Ensure the center and all employees comply with OSHA regulations and training.

Conduct recruitment, training, counseling, and termination. Manage employee turnover within center operations. Follow HR policies through fair treatment of all employees.

Overnight travel required up to 10% of the time

  • Duties: This position requires travel to MCI-Norfolk and Pondville Correctional Center Must possess and maintain ecclesiastical authority. Assist incarcerated individuals in the development of discharge planning to meet their religious and spiritual needs and utilize the reentry screens in the Inmate Management System (IMS) as needed; assist with maintaining the Faith Based Database and making referrals to faith-based organizations in the community. Special Requirements: Based on assignment, travel may be required. Those employees who elect to use a motor vehicle for travel must have a current and valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Driver Operator License or the equivalent from another state. Comment: This is a Civil Service position. Please note that salaries for union positions are determined according to the provisions of the respective collective bargaining agreement.
