Products may include the following: Peripheral Blood Progenitor Cells (HPCs/PBMCs), Mononuclear cells (MNC), and Packed Red Blood Cells (pRBC). Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform highly complex work within a specialized discipline that typically requires a medical/scientific certification or licensure. Adapt precedent to develop solutions with broad impact and/or high risk.WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

Oversee all operational aspects of designated systems including, proper maintenance, calibration and performance, inventory management, training, competency assessment, and teaching new staff.

Recognize, report, and resolve discrepant conditions and bring them to the attention of the laboratory supervisor. Perform and review daily equipment maintenance checks as directed. Perform advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, vendor communication, and validation of laboratory equipment and software maintenance.

Perform the highly complex procedures/methods for Cellular Therapy products.

Review and interpret results; prepare and review final reports, written or electronic.

Maintain, edit, and review computer and manual records to ensure accurate record keeping.

Maintain accurate, legible, and complete records. Maintain an orderly workspace.

Evaluate, validate, and implement new laboratory techniques, procedures, and QA policies.

Write validation plans and new procedures as directed.

Participates in working on special projects assigned and is responsible to analyze and summarize testing data.

Train, retrain, and contribute input into annual competency assessments of staff.

Assist in the general oversight of daily operations including compliance and quality improvement activities. May organize, delegate, and supervise work in the absence of the Supervisor.

Communicate with client or hospital customer personnel to report product and testing findings and/or receive orders.

May perform internal and external customer education.

May consult and communicate with personnel at client or medical facilities to facilitate resolutions to problems and address the needs of customers both internal and external.

Perform duties associated with receipt, coordination, shipment and transport of donor and patient blood samples to include ordering, receiving, inspection and preparation of supplies and reagents.

Standard Schedule: TBDWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor's degree in Biotech/Biological Science or Chemistry required with Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or equivalent certification.

Minimum 6 years of commercial/clinical laboratory experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Preferentially, this should include either tissue culture /research in a GMP environment or blood banking and/or Hematology laboratory experience.

Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Basic proficiency in the use of Personal Computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable.

Must be able to comply with the company's personal hygiene standards as they apply to aseptic processing.

Successfully completed sterile gowning training/qualification and aseptic process qualification (personal media fill) as well as annual/semiannual re-qualification as a core competency requirement of employment in this role. Ability to work on a team.

May involve variable locations and some travel.

Duties and Responsibilities : Must possess a welcoming manner and positive attitude, demonstrate effective communication skills professionally, interact with guests answering guest questions concerning lodging facilities amenities and provides information about local attractions Assists guests with all requests in person or via telephone including but not limited to making, confirming and or cancelling room reservations, collecting payments and presenting lodging receipts, check-in, check-out process, authorized patron verification, guest room assignments, credit card processing, etc. Greets and welcomes guests upon sight always maintaining outstanding guest relations. Communicates with all lodging associates and chain of command concerning operations, guest issues or situations that require immediate attention. Applies knowledge of standard operating procedures processes and rules governing patron eligibility. Receives requests and processes reservations within established guidelines.   • Duties: This position requires travel to MCI-Norfolk and Pondville Correctional Center Must possess and maintain ecclesiastical authority. Provide religious programming and services to incarcerated individuals in both general population and closed units; provide weekly religious services; provide pastoral counseling via regularly scheduled office hours and visitation to closed units; monitor and assess individual needs to ensure modification to programs are made when necessary; consult with and advise professional staff on religious/spiritual needs; provide religious education programming; integrate religious services with other treatment services where applicable; supervise religious volunteer programs; recruit and screen prospective volunteers (to include volunteers for any faith requested by an incarcerated individual); ensure that 103 CMR 485 is adhered to; provide a variety of volunteer programs to ensure that diverse needs of the incarcerated population are reflected; supervise and monitor volunteer activities for continued appropriateness and adherence to regulations; ensure ongoing program development with religious services; attend 40 hours of approved training per year; attend quarterly chaplain meetings and regular institutional treatment meetings; adhere to 103 CMR 471 Religious Programs and Services; establish approved schedules, calendars and postings for informing staff and incarcerated individuals of programs and services; that treatment program planning procedures are followed. Assist incarcerated individuals in the development of discharge planning to meet their religious and spiritual needs and utilize the reentry screens in the Inmate Management System (IMS) as needed; assist with maintaining the Faith Based Database and making referrals to faith-based organizations in the community. Special Requirements: Based on assignment, travel may be required. Those employees who elect to use a motor vehicle for travel must have a current and valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Driver Operator License or the equivalent from another state.
