As a Pega developer you will be involved in design, development, and testing of Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander), Pega strategic applications, and related infrastructure. You will be in direct contact with project managers, system architects, on- and off-shore team members as well as other engineers.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develops relationships with the business to better understand business requirements.
Develops knowledge in change request process and develops exhibits and other materials, under supervision.
Assists in documenting limited business and technical requirements and coding of system components.
Assists in developing unit test plans and is given specific tasks to support implementation plan.
Develops the ability to provide on-call support and monitor the system.
Facilitates small groups in peer code reviews and participates in vendor evaluation.
Analyze, design and support implementation of business-specific Pega solutions and/or frameworks
Responsible for implementing technical solutions on Pega 7 platform.
Ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch customer experience
Good hands on implementing PEGA integration services using REST, SOAP, Email etc. Good understanding of PEGA new case management features
Assist with planning and execution of unit, integration and user acceptance testing
Requires BA/BS degree or technical institute training, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires one platform, one database or one language. Business application preferred.Must Have skills:
1+ years of Pega implementations
Pega CSA Certification required
Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with programmers and other IT staff and non-IT functional areas
Nice to have skills:
Pega PRPC version 7 platform experience
Experience with process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Iterative) strongly preferred.
Experience in various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors and SOAP Services etc
Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class
