Make necessary decisions that prioritize expedited delivery of necessary parts or technical assistance, while providing valuable insight to the end user for efficient handling of aircraft.
Daily conference calls with the maintenance team leaders of Naval aviation squadrons.
Support readiness at 15 Aviation Support Detachments (ASDs) on both the East and West coast as well as OCONUS ASDs.
Provide analytical data to senior leadership running various reports.
Provide leadership with insight on possible process improvements as well as reviewing data calls that may require deep data mining.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active DOD Secret security clearance
Typically has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management or related business discipline and minimum of eight years in a combination of Navy logistics and Navy AIS management.
As a substitute for education, eight years of experience in Navy Logistics, AIS management, inventory management, and the functionality of Navy logistics and AISs. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category.
Familiarity with Navy Aviation supply and maintenance relationships, organization, and management databases is highly desired; possess strong verbal skills to convey analysis results and recommendations
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
