leading health benefits companies and a Fortune Top 50 Company.The Systems Analyst, along with other analysts,supports all regulatory reports for eight markets. The methodology usedis Agile (Kanban). Specific responsibilities include elicitingrequirements for new reports and modifications to existing reports; workingwith developers to ensure reports are developed in accordance withrequirements; testing reports; ensuring reports are deployed to production;working with the business/product owner and developers on production issues;running prioritization meetings with the business. Anthem can be assessedsignificant fines and/or sanctions if a report is late or inaccurate, so thecandidate must be self-motivated, able to operate independently, and wellorganized. The ability to do moderately complex queries in SQL isnecessary.Primary duties may include, but are not limited
to:
Managesintegrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance and supportrequirements of a system.
Createsfeature test strategies and environment needs.
Provides thelink between the technical and business views of the system by ensuringthat the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of thebusiness.
Applies andmentors use of tools to define requirements.
Anticipatesand identifies opportunities for improvement.
Ensures highlevel designs including architecture requirements are accuratelydocumented and map to approved requirements.
Assists indeveloping training documentation and proactive identification ofadditional documentation needs.
RequiresBA/BS in information systems or related field; 3 or more years relatedexperience; or any combination of education and experience, which wouldprovide an equivalent background.
Certificationspreferred.
