Amentum is seeking a Test Engineer III at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) Virginia to assist with systems and technical engineering services. We will provide systems and technical engineering services across Total Ship Training Capabilities (TSTC) by implementing disciplined and rigorous System Engineering processes across all mission areas of Integrated Training Systems (ITS) Family of Systems (FOS).Using your prowess and experience, help our customer define, document, and follow an open systems approach using modular design, standards-based interfaces, and widely supported consensus-based standards in hardware, software, subsystems, and elements that comprise the specific system.Test Engineer III Responsibilities Include: Executing testing of complex systems and subsystems. Testing planning of complex operational and engineering interoperability tests composed of components from Navy, Joint and Coalition systems. Supporting any variation of system engineering, verification and validation test development, integration, and interoperability assessment and certification testing.Amentum is a leading global provider of technical and engineering services to government and commercial customers. High School or GED Diploma.
At least five (5) years of full-time professional experience, two years of which must have been in support of a major shipboard combat and/or training system providing quality independent verification and validation (IV&V) expertise in the task areas specified in the SOW.
Cyber-Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Intermediate Level knowledge and skills, at a minimum, with a certification in IA standards and policies.
Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
