Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Trades Recruiter in the Machinery Manufacturing industry, based in Norfolk, Virginia. In this role, you will be a part of our team tasked with managing recruitment within the trades sector, utilizing a variety of systems including Applicant Track System and Paycom, among others. Responsibilities: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract suitable candidates for trades roles within the machinery manufacturing sector Utilize Applicant Track System and Paycom for managing recruitment processes Conduct Human Resources (HR) administration tasks related to recruitment and onboarding Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and create compelling job descriptions Leverage various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events to source candidates Conduct initial screening of applications and coordinate interviews Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate details Handle inquiries from candidates regarding open positions and the application process Monitor the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make necessary adjustments Ensure compliance with all legal and organizational policies related to recruitment. Requirements Proven experience in the field of Trades Recruiting within the Machinery Manufacturing industry Proficiency in using Applicant Track System for managing recruitment processes Experience in using Paycom software for HR management and payroll Strong skills in Recruiting, able to source, screen and interview potential candidates effectively Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with various stakeholders Ability to adapt to changing recruitment trends and industry developments Strong decision-making skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
