As a crucial member of our dental care team, you will assist in creating a positive, comfortable environment for our patients and contribute to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
Take and develop dental X-rays
Record patient medical histories and other required documentation
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and aftercare instructions
Assist with scheduling and patient communication
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Experience with dental office software is a plus
Prior dental assisting experience is preferred, but not required
