Quality general dental practice seeking personable and flexible Dental Hygiene Assistant.
The applicant must have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, have excellent communications skills, be detail oriented, be able to multi-task, and be a team player.
Responsibilities include: seating patients, taking medical history, updating X-rays, helping to perio chart, polishing and flossing teeth, giving oral hygiene instructions, keeping the hygienist on schedule, setting up/breaking down of rooms, sterilizing instruments, and making appointments (Softdent experience is a plus).
Applicant should be X-ray and CPR certified and be comfortable with taking directions.
For the right applicant, there is opportunity to cross-train with front desk.
