We are Electrical contractors in Norfolk, VA seeking a full-time Office Assistant, for our Construction side. The right candidate will have the following skills and capabilities.
Commercial electrical/construction field knowledge is a plus, but not required.
QuickBooks experience is preferred
Excel experience is preferred
Dispatching and scheduling experience
Billing
Knowledge of purchase orders and issuing purchase orders
Ordering material-knowledge of electrical material is a plus
Filing and maintaining customer files electronically
Multitasking
Organized
Excellent customer service skills
Communication skills
Knowledge of pulling permits is a plus
The ability to liaison between office staff, field techs, and Project Managers
Must have smart phone
Must have own transportation
This position is full time. The office hours are M-F 730AM-4PM.
This position comes with a monthly phone allowance, benefits at start, paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation days.
