We offer acquisition management, systems engineering, Agile software development, cloud management, IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and training, including leading-edge DevSecOps, automated testing, and mobile application development.CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Technology Consultant (SME) to support our Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) project in Quantico, VA. This is a dynamic position that will involve creating processes and workflows, drafting, reviewing, and ensuring compliance to orders, directives, and policies, and managing, sharing, and controlling information for MCWL/FD Non-classified Internet Protocol Network and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network websites. The IT Consultant (SME) must be able to work independently and within a group setting.Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-
Provide oversight of the implementation, and supervision of IM, KM, and Data initiatives and provide a framework to ensure the capture, harnessing and exploitation of intellectual capital
Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices
Ensures adherence in documenting, controlling, and organizing the captured knowledge to realize maximum utility, speed of access and to enhance their job performance and mission contribution
Leverage the latest Internet and telecommunications technologies to provide access and the ability to collaborate on knowledge products for MCWL through the classified and unclassified online portals
Ensure IT strategies and processes support organization-wide goals
Provide guidance to a formulated Knowledge Management Working Group (KMWG) from across all sections and divisions to integrate planning, development and implementation of knowledge programs and systems across the command, in providing knowledge to the decision makers
Plan, deploy and maintain IT systems and operations
Manage the organization's software development needs
Develop and enforce IT best practices across the organization
Oversee relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
Execute the process for MCWL to coordinate, manage, share, and control information
Provide classified and unclassified network collaboration tool enterprise level engineering and end user support
Conduct continuous process improvement techniques to enhance mission and business processes, increasing access to relevant cross-functional information in a collaborative, timely, and contextual manner
Oversee the administration and operation of the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (TMT) at the division and section level
Participate in the KM Working Group and advocate for process and tool improvement based on the need of the division/section
Oversee the adherence of processes and tool usage within the division/section
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree is preferred
Fifteen (15) years of professional experience
Eight (8) of the fifteen (15) years must detail progressively increasing levels of responsibility in organizations and task experience supporting similar projects
Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the Marine Corps, its missions, force structure, warfighting concepts, tactics, techniques, procedures, doctrine
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
Ability to interpret complex internal customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication
