Job Summary: The Department of Psychology in the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences at Radford University invites applications at the associate or full professor level to serve as the founding director for a Master’s program in Clinical Psychology. Starting in Fall 2025, this tenure-eligible position is nine-month with additional funding for summer months and administrative responsibilities. Salary is commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of a new Master’s program in Clinical Psychology that meets APA accreditation requirements and Virginia Board of Psychology requirements for preparing license-eligible graduates. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an APA -accredited graduate program, an APA -accredited doctoral internship, and be a licensed or license-eligible Clinical Psychologist in Virginia at the time of appointment.
Applicants should have a track-record of peer-reviewed scholarly publications that is consistent with expectations for tenure and appointment at the associate or full professor level.
Consistent with departmental and university goals, applicants should have evidence of successful student mentorship and classroom teaching.
Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to coordinate complex tasks while maintaining collegiality in professional relationships.
