DescriptionSAIC is looking for a Application Architect to help support the Modernization of Legacy IRS systems.Job Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for a Modernized GMF Application.
Oversee the software development teams to modernize, enhance, and provide for developmental O&M upgrades
Lead the development of a roadmap to modernize the GMF application.
Working with the Unisys OS 2200 systems using COBOL (UCOB), DMS, RDMS, ECL, etc. and modernization tools and technologies
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor of Science, or equivalent education.
Ability to obtain and maintain an MBI clearance
At least 15 years of experience with developing large enterprise application architectures, including software development methodologies, with at a minimum of 5 years using Agile.
Understanding of IRS Submission Processing
Application Architecture experience with Unisys OS 2200 platform
Knowledge of computer programming, database access, and applicable tools.
Experience with Unisys COBOL, both ACOB and UCOB.
Experience with DMS, RDMS, ECL, InfoConnect and related tools
Knowledge of Java, mainframe programming and migration
Understanding of Modernization Approaches
Understanding of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Understanding of Application analysis tools

An Active IRS MBI Clearance is highly desirable.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000.
