This role combines portfolio oversight, team leadership, and client relationship management to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically while managing large-scale technical initiatives.LocationFully RemoteKey Responsibilities

Perform continuous risk assessment and mitigation, working with management to remove resource and technical barriers impeding development.

Analyze problems, identify core issues, and provide technical and operational guidance to project/product teams.

Manage direct reports and a matrixed team, leading cross-disciplinary efforts to develop, iterate, and refine digital solutions.

Maintain a results-oriented work environment through partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Establish and maintain schedules, product roadmaps, and strategic plans to meet client goals.

Oversee project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and track resources using financial management tools.

Actively communicate with clients to understand and define needs and priorities.

Basic Qualifications

Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, US Citizenship required.

Must reside in the United States and work must be performed in the United States.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

10+ years of experience managing waterfall and Agile software development projects, including tasks of similar size and scope as outlined in the PWS.

5+ years of demonstrated experience managing and coordinating Time and Material/Labor Hour and Firm-Fixed-Price contracts in Federal agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

Federal government experience, experience with GSA preferred.

Master’s degree in project management, Information Systems, or Business Administration

Industry certifications such as PMI PMP, PMI-ACP, DevOps Certified Agile Service Manager, or equivalent certifications.

Proven experience providing strategic technical guidance to clients in support of digital modernization initiatives for mission-critical, citizen-facing systems, including acquisition management systems.

Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams, including coordinating employees across various labor categories and skillsets.

Experience leading programs at GSA is preferred.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to lead business development efforts, including managing and writing proposals and capturing strategies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consensus-building skills.

Familiarity with financial management tools for tracking budgets and resources.
