DescriptionICF seeks an intern to support projects within the Early Education Services Line of Business. ICF's Early Education Services conducts technical assistance and research and evaluation projects for Head Start, child care, and state early childhood programs. Interns at ICF have an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, and interact with experts in the field while building content knowledge and consulting skills.Our 2025 Summer Internship is a 10-week, full-time program that generally begins in early June and concludes in mid-August. The internship can be fully-remote from any U.S. location (may consider hybrid depending on location and proximity to an ICF office). At this time, we are unable to provide relocation assistance nor housing assistance for internships.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct literature reviews
Contribute to data analysis efforts, such as reviewing data sets as defined by set protocols, conducting QC of data entry, conducting data clean up, and spotting patterns or trends within a data set
Support federal grant reviews by providing technical assistance, maintaining databases, and producing materials.
Assist in planning and implementation of small in-person and virtual meetings (webinars), including meeting registration, data entry, badge production, reconciliation reporting, and responsive written and verbal communication with attendees prior to, during, and after the meeting.
Provide technical assistance webinar support including training material development and background system support (e.g., in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Assist with marketing efforts and strategy: coordination of logo development for meeting materials, development of promotional materials, maintenance and manipulation of marketing databases.
Schedule conference calls, take notes and prepare meeting summaries, track action items, prepare and distribute agendas, materials, and other supporting resources.
Format, print, collate, package, and ship conference materials.
Track and update Smartsheet to document internal and external requests for updates to resources, public website, and style guide.
Willing to be flexible & support team members as needed.

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (anticipated graduation August 2025 or later) program in early childhood education, education, social work, public policy, public administration, or other closely related discipline
Preferred Skills:
Strong quantitative and analytical ability
Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience with MS Teams and Zoom meeting logistics
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional analytical skills to sift through high volumes of data and information
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
