Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience with systems automation, and with systems design and implementation.
3 years of experience with systems administration, Linux, networking, identity management, technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting), and reliability of technical infrastructure.
Experience with automation and coding/programming in Python, Bash Scripting, Terraform, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with DoD security compliance regimes including DoD CC SRG, NIST 800-53, and CNSSI 1253.
Experience with OpenSCAP and associated formats, including XCCDF and OVAL.
Experience with Google Cloud organization management.
Familiarity with basic web development and web app security.
Excellent partner management, follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and verbal and written communication skills.
As a Google Support Systems (GSS) Systems Development Engineer (SDE), you will develop services and systems at scale. You will develop, configure, and maintain internal systems and customer portals. Drive the development and implementation of Google Public Sector’s core customer support systems, owning all technology needs.
Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and customer experience.
Perform complex day to day troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure issues.
