Family owned Automotive shop looking for the right full time, experienced and responsible person that can handle interaction with customers and mechanics. Can be responsible for creating repair orders describing symptoms, problems and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required. Service Writers create estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor for customers when needed. Other duties include answering phone calls in a polite manner, maintaining a clean work environment and contacting customers on work needed and maintenance coming up in the future. Service writer maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates, and expected return of vehicle obtaining customer's approval of estimates, obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers, answering questions and concerns, and arranging towing if necessary. A Service Writer should enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmnets
BASIC AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
