Our Clients, a well known American Electrical Vehicle comapny is urgently looking to hire an
Automotive Technician to join their team on a on site in Richmond, VA!
This will be a 6+ month contract to hire on a W2 Offering a full benefits package
Required Skills & Experience
Fully Vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus (proof required)
Must possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record
Experience using a work order management system, including repair documentation preferred
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Must be available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, including weekends and holidays, according to business need. Shifts may include evening, overnight, or early morning hours. Ability to work the night shift (5:00pm to 2:00am)
One year experience working in an automotive repair shop preferred
What you will be doing
The ideal candidate will possess the technical acumen and the ability to provide a strong level of customer service. If you're able to think quickly on your feet, have a go-getter attitude, possess great communication skills, and have a passion for adventure, then we want you on the team
You will be working with our internal partners every day to assist with service needs and coordinate with our Service, Vehicle and Delivery Operations, and Field Service Engineer teams
Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles, using a documented process, checklist, and guidelines
Document results (pass/fail)of pre-delivery inspections and communicate results to team members/supervisor
Repair procedures with efficiency without compromising quality and safety
Perform or assist with assigned diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles
