Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Real Estate & Property industry located in Richmond, Virginia. As a Collections Specialist, you will be required to provide comprehensive financial solutions to customers who are 1 and 2 months past due on their accounts. You will be tasked with employing strategies to collect outstanding payments, and you'll be an integral part of the team, managing a variety of functions related to Accounts Receivable and customer service.Responsibilities: Manage early-stage accounts, focusing on problem resolution to collect payments. Set up payment arrangements with customers, taking phone payments as necessary. Assist with billing functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Utilize accounting software systems and CRM to manage customer accounts and keep records up-to-date. Handle inbound calls related to Loss Mitigation, offering and discussing options with customers. Utilize Accurint and ADP - Financial Services as tools to aid in collection processes. Maintain a high level of knowledge about Epic Software, using it to effectively manage accounts. Administer claim processes, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly. Answer customer inquiries, providing clear and accurate information. Maintain a high standard of professional conduct, adhering to company policies and regulations. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Accurint Experience with ADP - Financial Services Competence in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Knowledge of Epic Software Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls Experience in Billing Functions Proficiency in Claim Administration Familiarity with Collection Processes A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the Real Estate & Property industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of organization and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
