Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Insurance industry, based in Richmond, Virginia. As a Customer Service Representative, your role will be critical in managing high volumes of phone calls for new claims and inquiries on existing claims in a contact center environment. Responsibilities: Handle a large volume of inbound calls in a fast-paced contact center. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening and responding with empathy. Manage new claims and inquiries on existing claims. Multitask across multiple systems and platforms to solve problems proactively. Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with customers and the team. Ensure reliable attendance, understanding the critical role it plays in the team's success. Utilize your skills in Call Center Customer Service, Auto Insurance, and Accident Insurance. Travel to the Richmond office for scheduled shifts, utilizing your own reliable transportation. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role. Proven experience in a call center environment. Ability to handle high volume and fast paced call center situations. Experience in an inbound call center is a must. Prior experience in a call center is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences. Knowledge of auto insurance is required. Familiarity with accident insurance is preferred. Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and billing questions with professionalism and patience. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Proficiency in using computers and related software.
