Planet Technology’s client has a contract opportunity for a Java Full stack Developer. It is a 12 months contract, hybrid in Richmond Virginia Prefer local candidates or within two hour distance. Will consider someone ready to relocate if candidate is strong and serious
W2 Only, as our client does not have the ability to sponsor. W2 or green-card holder with three or more years of US residency. (no visa holders,or TN)

Interview: 1 hour interview technical interview/soft skills. Small coding/whiteboard exercise - testing strengths when approaching a problem.

Must haves:
• At least 5 years of strong experience in core JAVA coding skills
• Application development experience with Spring (2-3 years)
• Strong experience in front end development skills using Angular (6 and above)
• Application development experience with J2EE (3-5 years)
• Experience using Oracle as well as a knowledge of back-end PL/SQL script development (2-3 years).

Skills:
• Experience with REST APIs. Writing RESTful Web services (Spring REST preferred); using Web frameworks, such as Spring MVC; in multi-threaded and core Java programming; shell scripting.
• Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, or other application container
• Experience using Web UI Debugging tools (firebug, chrome dev tools, windows script debugger, etc.)
• Expert in user interface development, engineering cross-browser, cross device compliant code.
• Experience in Bootstrap, Type Script, HTML5, and CSS
• Application development experience with Spring, Hibernate, SQL, JUnit, J2EE, Maven, JAXB, JSON, XML, Micro services and log4J2. Experience with REST APIs, Mini Services, Cloud, DevSecOps.
• Apply code quality techniques and practices (secure development, code coverage, continuous integration).
