The Maintenance Manager will direct the plant maintenance mechanics and participate directly in maintenance work execution work plans.  PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESManagement of employees, materials, spare parts, and supplies.Support efficient and effective maintenance projects for the Maintenance Department and     Operations Department.Prepare detailed job schedules, providing fully developed work plans for projects and environmental compliance issues.Coordinate labor, parts, materials tools/equipment and access to the equipment. Job planning includes estimates for labor and materials, reporting on performance against     goals/estimates, maintaining records of maintenance execution, equipment histories and     equipment parts usage, logistical requirements. Manages Maintenance Projects outsourced to mechanical or electrical vendors and maintains     CMMS database. Mentoring personnel and identifying opportunities for succession planning.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT     The job requires working indoors and outdoors, walking, and some lifting (50 lbs.).Ability to respond to calls during “off hours” and on site if required. Ability to work greater than 8 hours per day (when required).
