Market Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Engineer
What we’re looking for: We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for compiling, managing and disseminating market and product portfolio analysis across assigned business segments. This person will also take the lead role on market pricing analysis, customer/competitor research and support key pricing and portfolio rationalization initiatives working in close collaboration with product management, sales, finance and marketing. What you’ll be responsible for in this role:
Support product management team in 80/20 model, option and SKU analysis required for portfolio definition, SKU rationalization and price positioning analysis
Conduct sales, margin and pricing analysis by connecting options used by sales/customer on front end and operations/engineering on the back end.
Support budgetary pricing analysis required for ETO customer requests
Assist Product Management in developing new product pricing
Maintain summary of new market trends and identify new emerging trends
Work with Product Management to develop improved market sizing and business cases
Compile and manage competitive intelligence
Engage with sales to identify emerging competitive threats
Actively engage in Voice of Customer initiatives
Conduct primary and secondary market research
Develop and manage process of compiling/warehousing VOC feedback in centralized location
Take an active role in strategic planning process
Create market brief including sales, competitive updates, market & business updates
What are the basic qualifications?
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance or operations
Minimum 3 years’ experience in business intelligence, analytics, market research, product management, pricing and/or financial analysis.
Proficiency in advanced excel, Power BI, Tableau etc for big data mining, analysis and presentations
What are the preferred qualifications?
Project Management experience preferred
HVACR or Food retail refrigeration experience preferred
