Description We are in search of an Office Manager to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The successful candidate will be at the helm of our accounting operations, handling accounts payable, payroll, and grant financial reporting. This role also involves administrative tasks and office management duties.Responsibilities: Oversee the implementation of day-to-day accounting operations Generate complete, accurate, and timely financial statements for all levels, including board members, executives, and management Uphold proper accounting records Administer the processing of financial transactions and invoice payments in a timely manner Compile financial reports for grant reporting Contribute during the preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns Supervise state charitable registration filings Coordinate payroll administration and liaise with the payroll company for payment delivery Handle benefits administration Support the Executive Director and staff with administrative tasks such as meeting scheduling, equipment setup for remote meetings, and note-taking Facilitate logistical support for onsite meetings and events Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for building facilities upgrades and repair scheduling Assist in maintaining and updating office and board policies and procedures Respond to phone calls and general email inquiries Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Requirements Proven experience in Account Reconciliation Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrable skills in Billing and Invoice Processing Proficiency in Data Entry Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience with QuickBooks is an asset Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is crucial.
