Property Accountant

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Property Accountant in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, located in Richmond, Virginia. As a Property Accountant, your role will encompass a wide range of accounting functions, primarily focusing on property accounting and management. Responsibilities: Undertake account coding tasks and maintain vendor files with precision Manage accounts payable and receivable functions Execute bank and cash reconciliations routinely Utilize property management software for various accounting tasks Oversee accrual accounting operations Carry out auditing tasks as per the industry norms Perform property management accounting tasks accurately Handle customer inquiries and resolve them efficiently Enter vendor invoices into the accounting software systems Prepare monthly financial reports for review and distribution. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems Ability to perform various Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Accrual Accounting Auditing skills Specialization in Property Accounting Experience in Property Management Accounting Understanding of Property Management principles Proficiency in using Property Management Software Ability to perform Cash Reconciliations Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations Ability to maintain Vendor Files effectively Experience in entering Vendor Invoices Skill in Financial Reporting Ability to prepare Monthly Financial Reporting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
