As a member of Finance Risk Management, the Senior Manager will play a key role in executing robust and proactive risk management programs, influence risk stakeholders and enable a strong culture of risk management that’s adaptable to a changing environment.We are looking for a candidate to lead a team to manage the Finance division’s risk management programs. The Senior Manager will oversee the activities to support adherence with Regulation W, including establishing and maintaining intercompany agreements. In addition, the Senior Manager will manage regulatory changes and ensure that we have accurate regulatory requirements applicability mapping and will lead our Designated Mandate Owner process. Collectively, these programs help to ensure a well-managed operating environment, ensure sustainable compliance across the division, and support business strategies.We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, process and control professional who excels in a team environment and has strong relationship building skills in order to facilitate partnerships with both internal customers, second line partners, and stakeholders. This person needs to have excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.Specific responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Reg W and intercompany agreements process, including supporting the applicable control frameworks for Finance
Provide risk-based reporting and other information for a number of executive level committees and department-wide communications
Interact with business partners in other risk and compliance organizations across the company (including the lines of defense) to support the assessment of Reg W applicability, and ensure appropriate agreements and monitoring are in place to support business strategies
Serve in an advisory capacity to risk advisors (in the FRM team) and business partners, assisting in execution of intercompany agreements and related control suite work
Conduct preparation activities and ongoing support for second line reviews, audits, and regulatory exams, as needed
Partner with functional teams across the business areas to assess the health over key risk processes, compliance requirements, functions and controls
Utilize Fuse and other applications in support of risk assessment and operational risk program activities across the department
Manage, develop, and lead a team of associates
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 7 years work experience in a Finance, Compliance, Audit, Legal, Risk Management, or a combination
At least 2 years of People Leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
At least 8 years banking industry experience within Compliance, Audit, Legal, or Risk Management focus
At least 4 years of People Leadership experience
Financial Risk Manager (FRM) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Experience influencing senior level management, and developing strong relationships with both internal and external partners
Experience with PRIME, AssessmentOne, and Tableau
Knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes and practices
Experience with Google Suite
