Description We are looking for a Software Engineer based in Richmond, Virginia, United States to join our team. This role focuses on using the SAP platform to devise solutions to intricate logistics and materials management procedures. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing ongoing support to SAP users and designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application solutions for our logistics and materials management teams.Responsibilities: Develop solutions to resolve complex logistics and materials management procedural problems using the SAP platform Provide ongoing support to SAP users and collaborate with project team members and users to develop or enhance specific applications Design, implement, maintain, and support application solutions for our logistics and materials management teams Develop test plans to ensure expected performance levels and test system modifications/enhancements Document system modifications/enhancements and provide training and support to end users Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues Utilize skills in Apache Struts, C, Database, EO/IR systems, Hibernate ORM, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, and CSS in performing duties and responsibilities. Requirements Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role in software design and development. Proficient in C for software development and debugging. Experience with Apache Struts, a framework for creating enterprise-ready Java web applications. Familiarity with Database management, including data manipulation and data definition languages. Knowledge of EO/IR systems and their application in software engineering. Proficiency in Hibernate ORM for handling persistent database access. Experience in AB Testing to compare versions of a product to improve product quality. Expertise in Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications. Ability to develop and manage APIs. Solid understanding and experience with ASP.NET for server-side web application development. Proficiency in CSS for web design and layout.
